How to use the pdf to png converter

  1. Choose the resolution, the background and, if you like, the pages to convert.
  2. Drop your PDF into the box. Each page is converted in turn.
  3. Download single images, or all of them in one ZIP file.

Why PNG?

PNG keeps text, lines and logos perfectly sharp, which makes it a good choice for slides, diagrams, screenshots of documents and anything with fine detail. It can also have a transparent background, so you can place a page on top of other artwork. If you want smaller files for photos, use the PDF to JPG converter instead.

Which resolution should you pick?

150 dpi is a good balance for screens and sharing. Use 240 or 300 dpi to print the images or to zoom in on small text. 72 dpi gives small files for quick previews. Very large pages are scaled down automatically to protect your browser. The conversion is limited to 200 pages per file.
