How it works
This tool uses the speech synthesis voices that are already installed on your device or built into your browser, so nothing is uploaded and there is no usage limit. The list of voices and languages depends on your system: Windows, macOS, Android and iOS each include different voices, and you can add more in your system settings.
It is handy for proofreading (hearing your own writing helps you catch mistakes), for learning pronunciation, and for listening to long text instead of reading it.
