How to use the sign pdf
- Drop your PDF into the box. The first page appears.
- Draw, type or upload your signature and click Use this signature, then Place signature on page.
- Drag the signature where it belongs, resize it, add the date if you like, and click Save PDF.
How signing works here
Your PDF is opened and saved entirely in your browser. The signature is a picture placed on the page, the same as signing a printed page and scanning it. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is stored once you close the tab.
Good to know
- This adds a visual signature. It is not a certified digital signature with a security certificate. Most everyday forms, letters and agreements accept it, but a few legal processes require a certified one.
- Typed signatures use script fonts that are installed on your device, so they can look a little different on another computer.
- If a page is rotated, use the Rotate PDF tool first.
