How to use the watermark pdf
- Drop your PDF into the box. A preview of the first page appears.
- Type your text and choose the position, size, color, opacity and rotation. Add a page range if you only want some pages.
- Click Add watermark and save to download the stamped PDF.
For your own documents
Use this tool to mark files that belong to you: drafts, internal copies, contracts you send for review, or documents labeled CONFIDENTIAL, COPY or PAID. It adds text on top of each page. It is not designed to remove, cover or replace a watermark that someone else put on a file, and you should only mark documents you have the right to change.
Tips for a good result
- A low opacity (20 to 40 percent) keeps the page easy to read.
- A rotation of 45 degrees is the classic diagonal stamp.
- Choose Repeat across the page to cover the whole page with the text.
- Text with accents or other alphabets is saved as a picture of the text so it always looks right.
Pages that are already rotated are handled correctly. The tool works with up to 200 pages, and your PDF is never uploaded.
